September 26, 2011Meadow Valley has been selected as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) by the City of North Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Wash Main Branch Channel and Trail Improvements project. This $25 million flood control improvement project will convey up to 8,405 cfs along the Las Vegas Wash Main Branch from Las Vegas Boulevard to Lake Mead Boulevard, to include rectangular channel improvements and a bridge structure with large-size parallel pre-cast and/or cast-in-place box culverts at the intersection of Lake Mead Boulevard and Pecos Road. The improvements also include pedestrian pathways and trail improvements, utility relocations, public outreach and multi-agency coordination.
